Premier League Predictions: Fixtures and Previews

Home » Premier League Predictions: Fixtures and Previews

This premier league predictions hub explains how we approach match previews and lists the next Premier League fixtures, with kick-off times in GMT. We do not invent tips or odds here. Instead, we give you the schedule and a method for reading any prediction critically.

How do our Premier League predictions work?

Each preview is built on research: recent form, team news, home and away records and the stakes for each side. Then we explain a view and the reasoning behind it. However, a prediction is an opinion, not a promise, and any match can surprise you.

The league also pauses for international breaks, so there can be gaps between rounds. For official fixtures and tables, check the Premier League website.

How do you read a Premier League prediction?

First, check the date, because old previews mislead. Second, look at the evidence: recent results, injuries and suspensions. Third, see whether the writer explains the risks as well as the upside.

Also, watch for confident language. A preview that calls a result certain is a warning sign. Football is too unpredictable for that.

Why do Ghanaian fans follow the Premier League?

Many Ghanaians follow the Premier League because Ghana players have featured in England, and matches are widely shown. Even so, you do not have to bet to enjoy it. For local football, follow the Ghana Premier League table and the live scores page.

What other prediction hubs do we run?

We also keep permanent hubs for Champions League predictions and betting tips today. These follow the same rule: research first, no guarantees.

How should you use predictions if you bet?

Treat predictions as one input. Compare them with your own view, and set a budget before you start. In addition, check that any bookmaker you use is licensed, using our bookmakers directory.

Because odds and lines differ between brands, learn the markets first. Our handicap guide is a good place to start.

What should you check before you trust a prediction?

Look at the date first. Team news can change within hours, so an old preview may describe a squad that no longer exists. Then check the source. A good writer names the results and injuries behind a view, and admits what is unknown.

Which factors matter most in Premier League matches?

Several factors matter, and none of them is decisive alone.

  • Form: the last five or six results, split into home and away.
  • Injuries and suspensions: a missing striker or defender changes how a team plays.
  • Schedule: a team with a midweek European game may rotate its players.
  • Motivation: a club fighting relegation may play differently from one with nothing to win.
  • Head-to-head history: useful, but old results matter less than current form.

Because the league has many strong sides, upsets are common. Consequently, short prices on favourites can be riskier than they look.

How can you compare predictions with the numbers?

Take a prediction and test it against the facts. For example, if a preview says a team is in good form, check the last six results yourself. Also, compare the claim with what you know about the fixture list. If the evidence does not match, trust the evidence.

How do international breaks affect the Premier League?

International breaks pause the league, and players travel to represent their countries. Consequently, some sides return with injuries or tired legs. For Ghana fans, the Black Stars fixtures show when Ghanaian players may be away. After a break, form often resets, so earlier results count for a little less.

How many matches does each round contain?

A normal round has ten matches, because twenty clubs play in the division. However, rounds are sometimes spread over several days because of television schedules and cup games. Therefore, check the date and time of each match in the table above rather than assuming a Saturday afternoon.
